Dr. Brumm is an Accredited Fellow Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which represents the successful completion of the most rigorous peer-reviewed accreditation process in the field of cosmetic dentistry.
Fellowship in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry is the highest level of recognition in the world. There are fewer than 100 Accredited Fellows in the world — and Dr. Brumm is one of the youngest dentists ever to earn the credential. This office is one of only two dental offices globally to have two Fellowship members of the AACD.
In addition, Dr. Brumm also holds Fellowships in the American College of Dentists (FACD), the International College of Dentists (FICD), and the Pierre Fauchard Academy — an honor society recognizing dentists for their professional achievement and service to the dental community.

A Rare Double Credential: Dentist and Technician
Dr. Brumm is also a Certified Dental Technician — one of only a few dentists in the country to obtain this designation. The CDT credential is a great achievement and demonstrates a significant mastery of the knowledge and applied skills needed in dental technology. It is why patients with the most challenging aesthetic cases travel to Clearwater to see him.
Education & Early Career
Dr. Michael Brumm received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville in 2006 and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 2001. A native of Somerset, Kentucky, he was inducted into the High School Football Hall of Fame there before going on to play running back for the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
National and International Lecturer
Dr. Brumm lectures across the country and around the world on Simplifying Complex Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry — the program he developed to teach other dentists how to make predictable, natural full-mouth results repeatable in their own practices. His courses span full-mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic and restorative protocols, implant dentistry, and dental-laboratory procedures. A Past President of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a graduate of the Sirona Speakers Academy, he has also put his protocols in writing, co-authoring many technique manuals.
He works closely with the profession's manufacturers as a Key Opinion Leader for many dental companies, including Nobel Biocare, Neoss Implants, and GC America, and has served as Team Cosmetic Dentist for the New York Yankees for almost 20 years.
Continuing Education — Every Year
Teaching has never stopped Dr. Brumm from being a student. Every year he completes hundreds of hours of continuing education in esthetics, restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, and occlusion, and stays active in many dental organizations — including the Seattle Study Club, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, the Upper Pinellas County Dental Association, the Dental Technician's Guild, the National Board of Dental Laboratory Technologists, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. That ongoing commitment to learning is what keeps his care current with the newest thinking in the field.
To use the gifts God gave me to deliver the finest dentistry humanly possible, to care with sincerity, to teach every patient how to keep their natural teeth for life, and to be a force for good in my family, my profession, and my community.
Off the Clock
Painting is one of Dr. Brumm's lifelong passions — in fact, every piece of art on the walls of the office was created by his own hand. He and his wife have five beautiful children — Mabry, Makayla, Mila, Michael Jr., and Monica — and two grandsons, Brooks and Baker. Outside the office he also enjoys golf, travel, and fitness, and he gives back through the Give Back a Smile program, the Clearwater Free Clinic, and other dental organizations.
