Our Clearwater office is about three hours from Naples via I-75. For Naples, Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, Old Naples, Pelican Bay, Grey Oaks, Mediterra, and Marco Island patients, this is the closest practice in the state with two AACD Accredited Fellows and an in-house master ceramist laboratory under one roof. Many of our Southwest Florida patients combine treatment visits with a weekend on the Gulf Coast.

We routinely care for patients traveling from the Naples area — discerning clients who have already been through the local offerings and are looking for work at a different level. The two-Fellow distinction is rare globally: fewer than 100 AACD Accredited Fellows practice in the world, and two of them are in this office.

For complex cosmetic, full-arch implant, and reconstructive cases, we sequence treatment into efficient combined visits so travel from Naples remains manageable — typically one to three trips rather than many. Our concierge front-desk team will coordinate hotel, transportation, and restaurant recommendations so the visit feels like a retreat, not an errand.

The drive from Naples to Clearwater

From Naples, our office is roughly a three-hour drive north — I-75 to the Tampa Bay area, then the Veterans Expressway across to north Pinellas. It is one straight, easy interstate run with no complicated navigation at either end, and parking is free directly outside the office when you arrive. Patients from Bonita Springs and Estero shave a little time off the front of the trip; those coming from Marco Island add about thirty minutes.

Because it is a real drive, we build your treatment plan around it from the first conversation. Most Naples-area patients are not making the trip for a routine cleaning — they are coming for cosmetic or restorative work that justifies the distance, and we structure that work to respect it.

Why Southwest Florida patients make the trip north

Naples is not short on dentists. What it is short on — what most of the country is short on — is a practice where two AACD Accredited Fellows work side by side with an in-house master ceramist laboratory under one roof. Many of our Naples-area patients came to us after working through the options closer to home and deciding they wanted a different level for a smile they will see every day for decades.

That is especially true for the work Southwest Florida sends us most: full smile designs, anterior veneers where a natural result is everything, and full-arch implant reconstructions where the case has to be planned and fabricated as one unified piece rather than shipped out to an outside lab and back.

Planning treatment around the drive

For complex cosmetic, implant, and reconstructive cases we sequence treatment into as few visits as the clinical work allows — often one to three focused trips rather than a long series of short appointments. When a case can be advanced further in a single longer day, we plan it that way so your time on the road counts.

Many of our Naples and Marco Island patients are seasonal residents who split the year between Southwest Florida and a home up north. We coordinate the sequence around your calendar — completing major steps during your in-town stretches rather than scattering them across the year.

Make it a Gulf-Coast trip

Our office is about ten minutes from Clearwater Beach — regularly ranked among the best beaches in the country — so many Southwest Florida patients turn a treatment visit into a weekend. Our front-desk team can suggest hotels, from the Sandpearl Resort on the sand to quieter boutique stays in Dunedin, and help time your appointments so the visit feels like a retreat rather than an errand. Our full guide to planning an out-of-town visit walks through airports, timing, and where to stay.

Naples patient questions

How far is Naples from your Clearwater office?
About a three-hour drive north — a straight run up I-75 to the Tampa Bay area, then the Veterans Expressway into north Pinellas. Marco Island adds roughly thirty minutes; Bonita Springs and Estero are a little closer.
How many trips will treatment take if I'm driving from Naples?
For most complex cosmetic or reconstructive cases, one to three focused visits. We sequence treatment to respect the drive — advancing the case as far as the clinical work safely allows in each visit rather than scattering it across many short appointments.
Can you coordinate care around seasonal residency?
Yes — many of our Southwest Florida patients split the year between Naples and a home up north. We plan the treatment sequence around your calendar so major steps happen during your in-town months.
Where do out-of-town patients stay?
Most stay on Clearwater Beach, about ten minutes from the office. Our front-desk team can recommend options from the Sandpearl Resort to quieter boutique hotels in nearby Dunedin, and help time your appointments around the stay. See our travel guide for details.
Is it really worth driving three hours for a dentist?
For routine care, no — see someone local. For cosmetic or full-mouth work where the result is visible every day for decades, many Naples-area patients decide it is. Ours is one of only two practices in the world with two AACD Accredited Fellows, with an in-house master ceramist laboratory — a combination that is genuinely rare, and rarer still within a short flight or drive of Southwest Florida.
